Course Description

The advanced course in ART for clinicians is designed to provide an in depth understanding of ART procedures. However, as a pre-requisite it is mandatory to undergo the Fundamentals of Reproductive Medicine and Basic infertility training prior to taking up this course. This course will enable the clinician to understand about the appropriate pharmacotherapy protocols for ovulation induction and controlled ovarian stimulation cycles based on patient response. It would impart knowledge on various assisted reproduction techniques such as IVF and ICSI.

The training will encompass legal aspects of ART as well as Ethical principles and religious beliefs of people with respect to infertility. Learning complex medical concepts in the traditional didactic textbook and lecture format can be alienating for students. It prevents the opportunity to apply this knowledge clinically. Advanced course in ART incorporates a case-based learning approach to address this gap. Eligibility

•  Doctors Specialized In Obstetrics And Gynecology With A Minimum Experience Of 3 Years In Dealing With Infertility Issues.
•  Physicians Familiar With OI (Ovulation Induction) & IUI (Intra Uterine Insemination) Procedures Using Stimulation With Gonadotropins.
•  Experience In Trans-Vaginal Ultrasound For Follicular Tracking.
